Guest Speaker Sunday 1st May

On our next Open Day Sunday 1st May, we will be continuing our regular talks.

Jim Connor who is president of Eltham District Historical Society will be talking about 'Eltham Then and Now'. Jim's presentation and talk provides very interesting and detailed notes about the history of Eltham and the town as it is today.

The talk will be at Ellis Cottage Historical Precinct at 2:30pm. Afternoon tea will be provided and attendance is by gold coin donation.

Members, friends and anyone who has an interest will be made very welcome. The cottage and barn have open fires and a wood heater so you will be warm and cosy.

Ellis Cottage is at 10 Nillumbik Square Diamond Creek. However, best access is off Main Hurstbridge Road before you reach Wattle Glen, just past the nursery under the power lines that cross the road where you will find a brown "Historic Ellis Cottage" sign. There is ample parking at the precinct.
